- Each team will consist of four golfers
- Golfers will be sorted into ABCD player pools at the conclusion of the registration period
- Players will be drawn at random from each pool to form the four person virtual-teams
- USGA Rules govern all play (local rules and conditions are in effect)
- Rounds may be played at a participant’s home course or any other eligible course if invited as a guest by a member (club fees may apply)
- The player must declare each round to a member of the golf staff prior to play and return the official Members Cup scorecard upon completion (See Round Submission)
- Rounds should be played from tee-lengths most representative of your current handicap
- If in doubt of any rules or procedures during a round, play two balls and seek the appropriate ruling at the conclusion of play from the golf professional
- Decisions for instances or grievances not covered under The Members Cup “Rules and Format” or “USGA Rules” will be made by The Members Cup Rules Committee. All decisions will be final.
- To declare a round, the player must have a member of the golf staff sign the official Members Cup scorecard prior to round play
- Upon completion of the round, the player must have his or her Members Cup scorecard attested with the signatures of both a playing partner and a member of the golf staff at the club at which the round was played
- Each player will return their scorecard to a member of the golf staff who will post the score through The Members Cup website
- The player will receive a score confirmation email and will have 24 hours from receipt of the email to request adjustment for an incorrect posting
- All participants will be required to have an established USGA Certifiable Handicap prior to the commencement of the first qualifying period
- There will be a maximum handicap of 30 for all participants with a minimum of six points required
- One round must be completed prior to each qualifying period deadline, however, rounds may be played at any time prior to the end of the qualifying period

- Teams may qualify for the Championship Event by:
- Finishing first or second in their flight based on their cumulative, aggregate team scores from the four qualifying periods, or
- Winning the wild card in their flight
- The fourth qualifying period will be played as a wild card round. In each flight, the team who has the highest aggregate point total for that round will automatically qualify for the Championship Event regardless of their final position within their flight.
- If the team that wins the wild card finishes first or second in their flight, then no additional teams will qualify from that flight.
